Stage 4 – Publication of Material Alterations to the Draft Leitrim County Development Plan 2023-2029
Following a Special Council meeting on the 4th of October 2022, the Members of Leitrim County Council considered the Draft Leitrim County Development Plan 2023-2029 and the Chief Executive’s Report in respect of the submissions received and resolved, in accordance with Section 12(6) and (7) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), that the Draft Leitrim County Development Plan 2023-2029 be amended.
The proposed amendments constituted Material Alterations to the Draft Leitrim County Development Plan 2023-2029.
In accordance with Section 12(7)(aa) of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, Leitrim County Council assessed the proposed Material Alterations and determined that certain alterations required the undertaking of full Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Stage 2 Appropriate Assessment (AA).
The Material Alterations to the Draft Leitrim County Development 2023-2029 the SEA and AA Determinations, the SEA Environmental Report (which includes information on the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing relevant Material Alterations, and incorporates a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment Addendum) and the AA Natura Impact Report are available to view via the following links:
