Refunds of Motor Tax

A minimum of three unexpired whole calendar months must be left on a tax disc in order to be considered for a Motor Tax Refund. Tax discs must be sent to Leitrim Motor Tax Office immediately as refunds are calculated from the first of the month following the surrender of the disc.

Required Documents:

• Completed RF120 Motor Tax Refund Form
• Necessary supporting documentation depending on the reason for refund – click here to view circumstances where refunds may be given
• Original Vehicle Registration Certificate
• Tax Disc
• Application for RF134 Replacement Document (if VRC or tax disc are not available)
• Supplier Setup Form along with bank header to confirm bank details.
