Mohill Painting Scheme 2025
Leitrim County Council is offering the Mohill Painting Scheme 2025 to support businesses and residents in improving the exterior of their properties. This initiative is funded under the Rural Regeneration Development Fund and aims to enhance the aesthetics of the town as well as create a welcoming environment for all.
Eligibility
- Businesses and commercial premises
- Residential properties
The scheme is open to properties within the designated town centre area (refer to map contained in scheme outline). If oversubscribed, priority will be given to areas where recent public realm improvements took place.
Application Details
- Applications Available from: 28 February 2025
- Applications Closes: 27 March 2025
- Expected Decisions: 23 April 2025
- Completion & Claim Deadline: 24 September 2025
Funding Details
- Up to 80% funding, capped at €2,000 per property (excluding VAT for businesses and including VAT for residential properties).
- Applicant Contribution: Minimum 20% match funding required.
- Eligible Expenses: Painting costs, power washing, and removal of unnecessary signage.
How to Apply
- Submit the completed application form to mohillstreets@leitrimcoco.ie by 27 March 2025.
- Include:
- Photographs of the property before painting
- A quotation for the work
