How to pay rent

If you are having difficulties with paying your weekly rent
- You wish to discuss you rent account
- You wish enquire about your rent balance
- If you want to be issued with a payment card from the Post Office
- Set up a deduction at source under the Household Budget Scheme operated by An Post
- Set up a regular Standing Order direct from your bank account
There are a number of payment options to pay your rent that you may wish to avail of:
- Payment via a Post Office Card in your local Post Office.
- Deduction at source under the Household Budget Scheme operated by An Post.
- Payments can be accepted over the phone at the Cash Desk of Leitrim County Council if you have a debit or credit card. Telephone: 071/9620005 ext 400.
- Payments can be made in person at the Cash Desk of Leitrim County Council, Aras-an-Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim. The Cash Desk is open from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily and from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. daily.
- Pay directly from your Bank Account by bank transfer or Standing Order – You can make payment by bank transfer or lodgement or by setting up a regular weekly/monthly Standing Order with your bank. Please ensure that you include your Housing Rent Customer Account Number on all transactions.
