How to make a payment

Payments to Leitrim County Council

Customers can avail of a number of payment options to discharge their amounts due to Leitrim County Council as follows:

N.B - Please ensure that you include your Customer Account Number on all transactions.

  1. At the Cash Desk, Aras an Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, N41 PF67.
    Payments of rates via the Cash Desk can be processed over the telephone on 071/9620005 ext 400. The Cash Desk is also open to the public from 9.30 a.m. to
    1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
    The Cash Office is located in the County Buildings, Aras-an-Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim. N41 PF67
  2. Posting your cheque, postal order, money order. Please ensure payments are made payable to "Leitrim County Council".
  3. Credit/Debit card payments: Can be accepted over the phone at the Cash Desk - please ring (071) 9620005, Ext. 400
  4. By Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to: Allied Irish Bank, Main Street, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim.
