Noise Action Plan 2024-2028

Leitrim County Council Noise Action Plan prepared in accordance with the (Environmental Noise) Regulations 2018, S.I. No. 549 of 2018 and the (Environmental Noise) (Amendment) Regulations 2021, S.I. No. 663/2021.   

Leitrim County Council being the designated Action Planning Authority under the above Regulations, have prepared a Noise Action Plan 2024-2028 for the sections of major roads in their functional areas that experience a volume of traffic greater than 3 million vehicle passages per year – (applicable to four small sections of the N4 (Dublin-Sligo) national road).

The plan excludes noise from domestic activities, noise created by neighbours, noise at workplaces or noise inside a means of transport or due to military activities in military areas.
