Leitrim is home to a global gin and whiskey distillery, The Shed Distillery and Visitor Experience, located in Drumshanbo which attracts 30,000 visitors annually.

Leitrim is home to Ireland’s first floating boardwalk at Acres Lake, Drumshanbo. Taking in a 6.5km linear walking and cycling trail along the Shannon Blueway from Acres Lake to Battlebridge Lock, near Leitrim Village.
