Creative Sector

Leitrim Design House is a not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting the development and success of

designer/makers and artists working in the creative sector in the county. Recommended by the Craft Council of

Ireland as one of the leading craft and design outlets in the country, this unique centre is housed in The Dock, a

beautiful 19th century Courthouse building, located in the heart of Carrick-on-Shannon.

Creative Heartlands is a 3-year project developed by Leitrim, Sligo and Roscommon Arts Offices and Local Enterprise

Offices to strengthen economic growth and sustain existing enterprises in the film, visual arts, design and digital

fabrication sector.

Located in Manorhamilton in North Leitrim, Ireland the Leitrim Sculpture Centre is a major resource for improving

the skills and knowledge in traditional, contemporary and experimental visual arts. Space and technology are

available at affordable rates for artists, local communities, and international practitioners.
