Emergency Rehabilitation Works - Aughavas Bridge

Roads Act 1993 / Temporary Closing of Roads

In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and Article 12 (6) of the Roads Regulations 1994, and for the purpose of facilitating Emergency Bridge Rehabilitation Works to Aughavas Bridge. Notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council has made a decision to temporarily close the following local, public road:

Road:          Aghavas Townland (Road: L-1582-1)
Dates:         Tuesday 29th October 2024 to Friday 15th November 2024 (inclusive)
UPDATE:      Due to further maintenance, the closure is extend until Friday 22nd November

Diversion:  via Corraneary, Carrickavoher, Drumshanbo North, Sunnagh Beg, Annaghmacullen, Racullen, Sunnagh More, Aghavas, Corduff North, Gradoge, Drumerkeane, Mullanadarragh, Miltron Glebe, Diffin & Drumgunny townlands. Road numbers: R201, L5561, L55794, L55831, L16641, L1664, L5579, L55793 & L5581

All diversions will be signposted, and Leitrim County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
