Temporary Road Closure - Aghoo Bridge (Decision)

ROADS ACT 1993 – SECTION 75 / TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS

In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, and for the purpose of facilitating Waterways Ireland Underpass Construction at Aghoo Bridge, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim. Notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council has made a decision to close the following public road:

Location:                 R204 -2, Ballinamore Town to Aghoo Bridge, Ballinamore
Dates:                      3rd March to 31st March 2025
Diversions:             All vehicles, including heavy goods vehicles, will be directed onto the R199 through Newtowngore towards the county Cavan border and onto the L-1534, Doogary Cross to
                                Carrigallen. Local access only on the R204 will be accommodated from Ballinamore Town to Fenagh via the R202 and onto Aghoo Bridge via the L-1487-0.
