Michael Whelan Historical Archive - Friday 22nd November

The Local Studies section at Leitrim Library Service will officially launch the ‘Michael Whelan Historical Archive’ at Ballinamore Library on Friday 22nd November at 7pm. This archive represents an important local history collection relating to Leitrim and its people, built up by Michael Whelan throughout his life, based on face-to-face conversations with local people, as well as research gathered from major libraries in Ireland and England Free event, all are welcome and light refreshments will be served.
