Mohill Flood Relief Scheme

The outline Scheme Area for this project is the town of Mohill which can be subject to flooding. The Shannon CFRAM study identified Mohill as an Area for Further Assessment (AFA) and concluded that a flood relief scheme would be viable and effective for the community.

At present the OPW is carrying out a detailed flood map review of the town of Mohill. This will identify areas of concern for flooding. Following this map review Leitrim County Council will advance a flood relief scheme to protect properties identified in the detailed map review.
