The total Funding for Leitrim was €1,821,933.70 and this was allocated as follows:

Shared Space & Services €843,798.96 with additional match funding of €146,458 provided by Leitrim Co Council for Mohill Library extension

Key Achievements
- Re-invigorated the Leitrim International Community Group (LICG) & the Leitrim Intercultural Forum (LIF).
- Published the first definitive online List of Leitrim’s War Dead from WW1. The list is facilitated by Leitrim Local Studies Library Service who update it as new information becomes available.
Also, 3 WW1 Memorial benches were installed – two on the location of our Shared Space capital projects and one in Carrigallen alongside the 1916 Memorial. - Four community gardens in Fenagh, Oaklands Estate, Carrick-on-Shannon, Newtowngore & Manorhamilton
- Mobile app and online resource charting local sites of interest & historical significance along the border area of Kiltyclogher in Leitrim and Cashel in Co. Fermanagh. The map links with videos recording stories from older members of both communities on these places and people associated with them.
- Seven unique handmade ‘story quilts’ created depicting small village communities on both sites of the border in North Leitrim. Each quilt tells a story about characters and places in the community.

Key Achievements
- Meeting cross community targets, recruiting younger participants from the minority faith group where numbers are small and many attend schools outside the county.
- Sustainability, with other funding streams listed below, being used to continue projects started under PEACE IV
- Continuation of cross border engagement between soccer clubs, especially newly formed under-age girls team in Carrick FC
Three capital projects under Shared Space & Services
Refurbishment of Kiltyclogher Community Centre – Investment of €115,030.47 in Peace funding to refurbish kitchen and lounge area, green room and community hall space.
Mohill Library – Investment of €263,572 in Peace funding with match funding of €146,458 by Leitrim County Council to build new extension to the existing Mohill Library – An Seomra Cairdis, a new community space available to the community. In addition Leitrim County Council carried out a full refurbishment of the Main Library, Sensory & Meeting Rooms.

Refurbishment and new extension to Sextons House, Manorhamilton – Investment of €291,959 created a new cross-community hub in Manorhamilton.

Key Achievements
The completion of Mohill and Manorhamilton to an excellent standard despite delays due to COVID restrictions and the costs coming in significantly over budget. The SEUPB allowed under spend on other programmes to be used to complete these 2 projects.
The 3 Steering Committees proved themselves very capable in developing Action Plans and Terms of Use for the 3 Shared Space Projects.
