Local Enhancement Programme
Local Enhancement Programme 2024 closed for applications on 18th February 2024.
The applications received will be assessed by Leitrim LCDC (Local Community Development Committee) and successful applicants will receive their Letters of Offer directly by email in the coming weeks.
On receipt of evidence of completion of their projects, the community groups will receive their funding.
This programme is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development to provide capital funding to support community groups. The total allocation for Leitrim for 2024 is as follows:
- €119,730 capital funding to use towards carrying our necessary repairs and improvements to facilities, energy efficient type projects, purchase of equipment etc.
- €19,955 of this amount is ring fenced to support women’s groups
