Local Enhancement Programme

The allocation for the Local Enhancement Programme for 2025 has been announced by the Department of Rural and Community Development. This fund will be administered by Leitrim County Council. Applications are expected to open in early 2025.

Details on funding

There will be a particular focus on small capital works/improvements and the purchase of equipment for community use (capital funding) There is a separate allocation to assist with energy and running costs (current allocation).
The total allocation for Leitrim under the Local Enhancement Programme for 2025 is as follows:
• €102,037 capital funding
• €17,006 current allocation
