Creativity and the arts are vital to Leitrim and serve as a reflection of the county’s vitality and aspirations. Leitrim Arts Plan 2024-2027 is a testament to the commitment of Leitrim County Council to foster the arts and to provide for accessible cultural services throughout the county.
The vision behind this new Arts Plan is to maximize the potential of the arts to foster social, cultural, and economic development. The plan outlines three core priorities: community engagement, nurturing children and young people’s creativity, and supporting the professional development of artists. These priorities, along with a commitment to address climate change and promote equality, diversity, and inclusion, form the bedrock of our efforts to enrich peoples’ lives through the arts.
