Creative Economy Investment Programme (Open Call)

As part of Leitrim County Council’s Creative Ireland programme to support the creative industries, Leitrim County Council is offering Leitrim based Creative Sector Companies the opportunity to apply for funding for an activity or programme of work that will demonstrably contribute to the company's growth and development such as -

  • Research – Costs relating to improving the organisation’s knowledge. Research, or short-term courses including on-line courses. The extent to which these activities are relevant to on-going and planned work, the quality and innovation of that work, and its importance to future clients is crucial and should be clear from the application.
  • New markets – Exploring new opportunities or territories in which the organisation operates. For applications to develop new markets, clarity, depth of research and rationale are key. Research already undertaken, correspondence with entities in those territories etc. may be valuable in supporting such applications.
  • New work – Costs relating to the development or production of new approaches or innovation to the organisation’s work. Evidence of good planning, research and rationale behind the new work may be valuable in supporting applications.
