The Western Development Commission (WDC) and Leitrim County Council announced the launch of the third season of the popular series Moving West. Minister of State Alan Dillon has announced a once-off allocation from the Local Government Fund to assist a number of local authorities in the run up to Christmas. It is intended that this funding will be used to support Christmas markets, or other such events and festive activities such as Christmas lights, in smaller rural towns in these counties.
